This indicates some type of corruption in the file that contains group information. To resolve this, please do the following:

1. On the Enterprise Manager server, close the Enterprise Manager console.
2. Open Windows Services, and stop the service named Bitdefender Server.
3. Go to the following location, and rename the file ‘groups.dat' to ‘groups.OLD': C:\Program Files\Softwin\Bitdefender Enterprise Manager\Bitdefender Server
4. Open Windows Services, and start the service named Bitdefender Server.
5. Open the Bitdefender Enterprise Management console.
6. You will then need to recreate any groups that you had previously defined.
